Posts like this make me laugh, people literally dont know what a Monopoly is lmao.

Their monopoly is apparently strong enough that people start to cry if a PC game isn't released on Steam. Like they cried when games went exclusive on the Windows store. Because apparently Steam is so ubiquitous already that it's a crime to not release on it. What other platform on PC is able to mobilize the entire PC community if a handful of games skip their store?

Great that you know the definition of a monopoly. Now you also might want to look up the words "de facto".

Well depends on the game, Borderlands as a franchise became big thanks to its million fans especially also on steam. They made a lot of money thanks to their fans and they deserved it but now they seem to prefer to screw those fans for a big cheque. It seems to be a logical step to release you games on all platforms on or on so much as possible for your fans but now it seems game devs are making games to make a lot of money.
