This makes me wonder what's going to happen a year from now. I doubt they will keep getting exclusives at this rate, it's not finantially viable. When all of the games come back to Steam, will the Epic Store have enough moment to survive, or will just be left alone when the exclusives are not a draw anymore?

They will continue to do so until they are big enough to walk there own ground. Epic can make games and while there main competitor Steam doesnt or rarey make games themselves, you can argue there is very little exclusives on Steam recently.

Launchers will improve and when EGS gets its major updates, its going to only get bigger. It also shows EGS isnt afraid to spend money. I am hoping this is a wake up call for the PC industry which will only benefit Steam users in the long run.

Mate, we've told you this time and time again.

Valve are making 3 VR games, they've released a game last year, and they even want to reboot it like SE rebooted FFXIV, like how Ubisoft stuck with RB6S. They have a VR headset+controllers on the way and the VR games to go with it, as well as a store revamp. They are actually doing shit and you're flat out ignoring this, spinning this as if it's Epic doing a superior job, doing the majority of the work while ignoring what Steam is doing and having the absolute balls to claim that what Epic is doing will magically benefit me.

The thing is it won't, nicking games from all other storefronts doesn't fucking benefit me. All you want is HL3 and I know for a fact that even if they did, it'd never live up to expectations, mine included and that you'd slam them for it, like an inserted self fulfilling prophecy. I want new games from Valve, not Assassins Creed style "I want more of this one game" kind of garbage. You like Ass creed?, that's dandy, but spamming like it's Final Fantasy isn't exactly a good thing for every single game, especially when said game has lost the majority of it's writers, but you want to see it fly and crash for the sake of seeing it fly for a few seconds.

EGS isn't afraid to spend money because it's living off of one game. Tim thinks he's going to become as big as google and that's both pompous and incredibly arrogant. Show me where the speech is where Gaben acted as smug as that. EGS as Jim puts it would rather "destroy" it's "competition" rather than co-existing with it. Valve so far hasn't gone out of it's way to eliminate everyone else. Valve in all the time GoG has been around, wasn't the one that took down it's fair price policy, that's on Epic and their brute force bullshit tactics. That's not healthy competition at all.

The PC industry has been awake this whole damn time, where have you actually been this whole time, fellow "PC" gamer?.
