So, eventually, yes. You're talking about the future.

Or buy second hand.

It's not rubbish. It's crystal clear that consoles are far easier to deal than PCs.

Considering I can compare both in real time... I still think this is rubbish.
Just yesterday I turned my Xbox One X on, was greeted with a system update that took about 20 minutes.
Then I went to play Halo Wars 2... And had about 45GB worth of updates... Then you have the slow load/boot/install times to contend with as well.

It was easier to turn it all off and fire up the PC instead... Because even if I had updates, I can just say "no" and run my games anyway and deal with it later.

Consoles UI is also allot slower and clunkier on PC... Many games exhibit the same bugs and problems found on the PC version... I mean, Skyrim on the Playstation 3 is a prime example, on PC you can just tweak/mod the game and get it running flawlessly, on the Playstation 3 the issues were never fully fixed were they? ;)

And then you have general support... Things like 1440P, 5k, ultra wide etc' support are important. It took Microsoft months and months and months after they made the initial promise for 1440P support... And I am pretty sure the Playstation 4 Pro still doesn't support it. Yeah. Not good.

I could go on... But I think you get the point now. Consoles aren't as convenient as you think they are, not anymore, long gone are the days when you could drop a disk/cart in and play a game straight away.
