The revisionist history is calling Kinect a craze.  Here are the facts:

Wii Sports Resort required Wii Motion Plus.  Sold 33m total.
Kinect Adventures was a pack-in for Kinect.  Sold 24m total.

Was Wii Sports Resort a craze in itself?  I've certainly never heard anyone say it was.  The game was released in 2009.  Did it cause the Wii to spike even further for 2-3 years?  I believe most consider 2009 to be the year that the Wii craze was ending.

So the question I have for you is, "If Wii Sports Resort sold significantly more than Kinect Adventures, then why didn't they have the same kind of effect on console sales?"

Wow.

Motion Plus-$19.99

Kinect-$149.99

Wow.

You dodged the question.

I'll give you another shot.  "If Wii Sports Resort sold significantly more than Kinect Adventures, then why didn't it have the same kind of effect on console sales?"
