The reviews for Crackdown 3 are very bad, the kind of score that should be given to a very bad game. Having played Crackdown 3 it's actually a good game and enjoyable game.

The 1-10 review scale is broken in my opinion because 1-5 is varying levels of crap. While 6 is often the score for bad game with redeeming qualities. So 60/100 seems odd for a game that's actually fun, polished and works well. This is why fans are ignoring the reviews for this game.

This is where you guys are wrong. Metacritic's criteria says that 50-75 is considered mixed or average but you guys are acting like 60 means bad or terrible.

Most of the reviews basically say the game is a fun  throwback for fans of the series but is short, repetitive and lacks ambition. Do you guys disagree with that general description?

Really, what do you personally think of a scores of 50. 19 out of 73 reviewers gave the game a 50 or below score .... that's bad & terrible.

I would disagree -
Unless your speed running the game it will take over 12-15 hours for the main story. 20-25 hours for completionist.

The game have you collecting orb, jumping around, constantly shooting stuff, have two kind of race challenges (car & parkour), Car Ring challenges, unlocking car outpost, freeing prisoners, unlocking communication and propaganda tower that give you story element and 10 boss fights. On top of being able to play Co-op. They also introduce new enemy type has you progress in the game, new guns and new abilities. The environment of the city always seem to be changing, port towns, inner city, mine pits, metro, urban & Sky scrapper area. I personally did not find it repetitive.

I agree with the Ambition comment the game fail to deliver on it's initial ambition and the Multiplayer is a total let down. The team seem to have wasted so much time on cloud technology rather then working on the campaign. They could of done so much more with this game. The game had the potential of being a real AAA for Microsoft but clearly something went wrong in development and they did a decent job salvaging what work was done. I really hope that this will turn out to be the ground work for a AAA Crackdown 4 that lives up to our expectation.

There also the Terry Crews implementation what little we did get it still his my favorite part of the game. Sadly, it was done has an after though rather then being the center piece for the entire game.  If anything it shows great potential for a sequel.
