that would have been twice as expensive to produce and have half as many sales. the PS1 classic could have worked if they just put actual effort into it. the game selection was lackluster, and could have easily been expanded to 30 games if they took the time to secure the rights. they also should not have used PAL roms and instead gotten the NTSC versions. then of course they should have either made their own proprietary emulator or just used the latest version of PCSX instead of an outdated one. and then gotten the dualshock controllers instead of the ones limited to just a D-pad. if they did all of that and made the entry level price maybe $79 instead of $99 it would have done amazingly well.
