I'm actually starting to think we won't see any more PS4 revisions. I was 100% sure we would see 7nm PS4 Super Slim and a PS4 Pro Slim, but since Sony has not added any new Firmware features since FW4.50 on 3/9/2017, it is looking unlikely that any major PS4 support will show up in the future.

As far as we know right now, "The 6.50 update does not include any new major consumer-facing features."

I'm guessing PS5 is the focus now, and they are going to take a major leap away from the PS4 OS and the current PlayStation Network Structure. The way things look to me, Sony are going to want to get people moved from PS4 to PS5 ASAP. So, now I don't think we will see PS4 Super Slim and PS4 Pro Slim, as I'm guessing Sony does not want to increase or maintain demand for the system.

Perhaps they have a multi-tier set up in place for PS5, that will target both the low end and high end, like we are hearing rumored for XB4. That would eliminate the need to keep PS4 around once PS5 arrives, and with full B/C and a $300 PS5 version on the market, they don't even need PS4's on shelves for people to replace broken systems as PS5 would do that + more at the same or cheaper.

Now that I have said this though, look for an announcements for both PS4 revisions any day.
