Yeah, looks like the UK may break apart due to Brexit, with Northern Ireland going back to Ireland and Scotland finally gets it's independence they're asking for for years now.

Oh, you meant the EU? No need to give up sovereignty (or was the UK at any given point not a sovereign country anymore? Nope, always retained it's sovereignty, unlike Scotland like remarked above) and you're free to leave whenever you want to. The 2 year transition period came from the UK not the EU.

Oh, and if there is no freedom to leave, how come the UK is, well leaving???

Seriously, please get your facts together before ranting about something you seemingly don't seem to fully understand with half-truths at best and totally wrong statements at worst.

Which is good, I am libertarian, I am in favor of voluntary associations of any country, even of states in any country (in my view any country state/province should have the right to leave the country if they wish): freedom to join and leave as they wish.

This is why I was in favor or Russia take over of Crimea, because 99%+ of crimean people wanted to go back to Russia. And I am against a Chinase take over of Taiwan cause 99%+ of Taiwanese people are against such thing.

That explains a lot.

In the 2014 referendum (that was held when the Crimea was already occupied by Russian forces) 96.77% of the votes were cast in favor of joining Russia, so 99+% is inaccurate. There were only 2 options in that vote, join the Ukraine or join Russia - the status quo (autonomous region affiliated with the Ukraine) was not an option, neither was joining Turkey (lots of Crimeans have turkish roots) or any other countries. Is that your idea of freedom?
