It’s been interesting seeing how the success of ND narrative driven games has kind of seeped into Sony’s other studios and changed the development philosophy of the company. You’re right that the two games showcase those different philosophies.

To me the main difference here outside of obvious genre is that if you remove the narrative from LoU you’re left with a game with pretty average at best gameplay. It’s more about experiencing the game than playing it, like all ND games have become. Zelda on the other hand you can remove the narrative and it’s still full of engaging gameplay, challenging puzzles, open world sandbox, etc etc.
