Also you've got Shigeru Miyamoto and Kensuke Tanabe to thank for the Metroid Prime games.

And its not like Yoshio Sakamoto wasn't involved in Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, or Metroid: Zero Mission as director. Oh wait...
