I’m truly sorry for having a different subjective opinion than you.
Just out of curiosity, how many hours should I play before it becomes more fun? |
You fundamentally misunderstand. I champion subjectivity. The OP is just funny because it describes an experience that shouldn't be out of the ordinary for anyone with a decent amount of gaming knowledge under their belt. You are describing an experience which you don't hate, and like in some ways, but overall find boring, and you don't see the "hype" in it so to speak. I don't think this is uncommon, it happens to me all the time and I'd imagine to most people who game it's happened at least a few times. It's not exactly something worth calling a lot of attention to - you think it's not as good as other people, cool, and?
Now if the points made in the OP were convincing then there would be something more substantial to respond to. Instead, and I think you kind of admit this in the OP, you just don't like the game and list some very general points which could be interpreted in a lot of ways in-game.
So yeah, I wrote that not because your opinion is "wrong", it isn't, I wrote it to contrast the very big claim in the title with the very humble and personal (but also not very detailed) take on the game. The thread title reads like it's trying to make a convincing statement to argue for but all that was written was a neat little hot take.
And I think you've spent enough time, lol. I am impressed you stuck with it that long if you found it boring. I don't think it's for you. There is no set amount of time you should spend by the way. It is up to you how much you want to try out a game before continuing or quitting.
