Well seeing how Nintendo holds the record in Japan, and the only thing worth comparing to that record is another Nintendo console, it really does not matter which one did it a bit faster.

Well it does because generally on a VG sales website we compare things. It shows in japan switch is selling good but way off the DS and a good chunk behind the 3ds. Things will change for good or bad but as of now that's how it stands.
