He aint lying, famistu digital is laughable and are based on polls. That said your correct, digital is huge with MHW. Probably around 850k-950k and thats no laughing matter.
We kno MHW is 3mil ship+digital. Probably close to 3.1mil, maybe even 3.2mil

LOL, Famitsu digital estimate is always a joke for Nintendo games especially with the data we received from Nintendo retail shipment+Digital.

Good thing Capcom said it themselves and their number is similar to Famitsu. Don't discredit the numbers MHW have done.
