The Division 2 will not be released on Steam. It will release on Uplay and the Epic Games Store. Ubisoft has also said it will bring future titles to the Epic Games Store as well, though it doesn't sound like they're saying they're also going to be exclusive just yet. Other games have made the commitment to be exclusive to the new store but this is the largest title so far. I'd be interested to know if this means EA's Origin will also not sell the game since Ubisoft does have their games available for purchase there. Are they truly making Uplay and Epic Games the only places to buy it for PC or is this just a targeted snub of Steam?
