Funny how double standards work. The bottom line is that in most ways you break it down, RDR2 IS NOT the highest rated current gen game on meta critic. The OP is highlighting the one and very flawed, instance where it is (when you look at the version that got only 33 reviews instead of the one that got 94). All people are doing is using hos own cherry picking logic against the OP to show him just how ridiculous his claims are.
However considering this kind of reaction was likely what he was after all along, he is probably patting himself on the back. |
RDR2 was also review bombed. And when you take into account what happened after Jim Sterling's BotW review, it's safe to say that Nintedo fans are more fanatical. RDR2 was also review bombed by PC fans and PS4 and Xbox fans who bombed the competing console version.
And RDR2 is the highest rated current generation game on Metacritic. That statement is a fact. If you want to be specific you can add "RDR2 Xbox One version".
And since this seems so hard to accept, lets then add BotW WiiU score (96) to the mix since BotW was released at the same time on WiiU and Switch.
