Define desperately because to most people it's more them preferring UK remains because of collective power on the world stage but still being fine if UK left because unlike us they actually have things mapped out for either scenario after all do you hear EU politicians talking about food shortages and stashing medicine like the PM is? If UK leaves it'll only be replaced in relevancy by another country eventually.
