This type of stalemate also plays into my overall point, which is everything is subjective.  Those that simply argue that Switch CANNOT be a main or primary console, simply wish it to be the case.  An argument can be made for all of them depending on the person.

Well, if this is an excercise in empathy, then I’m all for it.

But are detractors painting in such broad strokes? Are they saying under no circumstances can Switch be someone’s favored console—easily disputable, as you say—or are they simply speaking for themselves?

So far, not really.  The detractors that make such wild claims seem to be avoiding the thread because they themselves know how ridiculous the notion is.  Either that or they have not tried yet.

 

Out of respect of our fellow community members  I will not name names.  They know who they are and if they feel they have a valid point, they will reveal themselves.  If not, with their silence they admit the fact that Switch is a perfectly viable primary platform for many gamers, and that their claims in the past was only to get a reaction out of people.
