Bought Xbox One X, have a 1080p TV, some thoughts.

I would actually argue the X1X made a bigger leap forward in GPU power than the base X1 attempted to do. Maybe its just the difference between low-mid GPU versus high-mid GPU.

I mean the X1X might do a better job hitting 4K than the base X1 does hitting 1080p. Although, I get impression developers are putting less effort in base X1 optimization these days.

Its nice, kinda like next gen polish in the same gen. Espeically if you're playing a game that improves visual assets for X1X.
