and yet this occurs outside of religion just as frequently, sounds to me like its not a problem specific to religion but to mankind as a whole
being an atheist does not make someone automatically more rational than someone who isn't
and that is a fallacy that is implied very often in these types of discussions
the funny thing about it to me is that people then start identifying with atheist and ironically become the very thing they claim they were in opposition to
its fascinating to watch
