You got to have the ammo first or it won't let you select it. It doesn't tell you that and it's rather hard to make out, yet they are greyed when you have 0 ammo.
My horse got confused last night. I had set it to auto walk to the next location in cinematic mode. Then he kept going back and forth between a rock and a tree somewhere in the middle. I have had it before as well that he lost the plotted trail and simply kept on going. When I checked what was taking so long he was almost at the other end of the map. Sat nav failures.
