Reviews don't matter that much. Right now when people talk about open world games and quality they mention TW3 as the benchmark. It truly raised the bar, heck how many times have you heard people talk about Bethesda games and their need to up their quality in a post Witcher 3 world? It set the bench mark, Horizon was compared to it, fallout 4 as well. And basically every open world game now looks at the witcher as the game to beat.

Oh I'm not gonna argue that one, I myself believe that as well, I only thought you were asking if RDR2 would beat its score, and I don't let scores dictate my purchases anyways, after watching a lot of the Q&A's on youtube about the game, I'm convinced I'm gonna enjoy this game and even dethrone TW3 as the best open world game for me.

Idk man, I'm not going in blind with red dead, I watched the teaser trailer, the two story trailers that released after and a few from the gameplay trailers, but I haven't read and watched any Q&A and there is do much about the game idk about. Because I want to be surprised, I think it's definitely gonna be an amazing and very unique game, and in some aspects I think it's gonna beat TW3, but overall? I don't know.

One area where TW3 has a huge advantage is making choices, and that's a design I absolutely love in games, making my own choices that impact the story and progression of the game is something I enjoy a lot. I know you can make some sort of choices in some areas in RDR (not sure what exactly and don't want to know) but it's not in the scale of TW3. So beating it for GOTG is a really hard task I believe
