Vita's screen is very nice at doing pure black at the native resolution of 544p but the thing is, a ton of Vita games are sub native res and in those cases you get a crazy bleed effect from some areas, Killzone is fairly nasty looking at times when it comes to dark area's  same is true of a games on the Vita being upscaled from things like the PSone, non native just doesn't work great with that screen, unless you mean the LCD version in the Vita slim edition, that's better in general than the originals but loses out on the very nice pure blacks which the OLED screen offers.

Yeah I was really only talking about the advantage of OLED, my bad.
