Switch vs Wii U+3DS sales is a pretty poor barometer of success. It fails to take into account the fact that people could/would have owned both, and they aren't going to buy multiple Switches just because they had both a 3DS and a Wii U. It also fails to account for the additional costs involved in selling multiple consoles. If you want to compare Switch vs Wii U + 3DS then it should be on profit, rather than pure sales figures.
Putting all your eggs in one basket is just a bad idea, regardless of how good that basket is. So them diversifying is a good thing and certainly doesn't indicate a lack of success.
Nintendo's stock price was overinflated in the first place. That's not an issue.
Subjective of course, but as somebody who despises portables that's a win for the Switch in my book.
Final Fantasy 'nuff said.
Disagree. Subjective again of course, but as soon as FF 7,9 & 10 release on the Switch then the best Switch games will be Square games as far as I'm concerned.
That's a loss for consumers, but who really cares about consumers?
Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702
