Xbox One, the audience there is simply bigger for an ultra gory first person shooter. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Switch version is a bit late; they said they're planning for a simultaneous release but we saw how that worked out for Dark Souls Remastered.

Yeah the "hugely" part shouldn't really be taken literally, that's just how PR guys talk.
Actions speak louder than words and Doom Eternal coming to Switch is a pretty clear statement that they're pleased with their results on Switch so far.
