When asked whether the Yakuza games could come to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, producer Daisuke Sato said the following. The portions concerning the Nintendo Wii U pertain to the commercial failure of "Yakuza 1 & 2 HD for Wii U".
To be realistic about what happened... Nintendo Wii U was a major failure... We are always on the lookout to support multiplatform as much as possible... We know that it brings an additional audience...
To bad he didn't realise that Switch don't have anything with Wii U..
