I think the SNES possibly didn't include some stages which were upsidedown for a technical reason, stages actually had me and my bro at the time sitting on the couch upsidedown to play it with our heads hanging off the pillows, was great lol.

There was also a part 3 which was a hell of a lot faster paced more in the lines of Sonic than the first 2

I didn't get into it quite as much as the first two games.

Also there was an amazing sports game featuring James Pond in the Aquatic Games, absolutely great for breaking megadrive pads and bleeding from the knuckles to get gold medals in this.... ahh... before the advent of turbo fire pads.

so the mega drive versions are definitive... interesting to know.

fast james pond? now that blows my mind lol. is the stretching mechanic still intact?

seeing as i want to preserve my controllers, i might avoid that sports game.

Nope, no stretching from what I played of it, but that really wasn't a whole lot.

Also, upsidedown stage from James Pond 2.... man I loved this game so much.
