She isn't being silenced. She can say what ever she wants. There are consequences to speech as people can respond or wish not to associate with you.  Any business can fire an employee if said employee brings bad press with such negative customer interactions.

People have to learn, social media is an open platform. Slag your boss or customers off to a friend over a drink in person, fine. State it on the internet for everyone to see and expect to be fired.
