I wasn't aware that some supreme being made Epic the speaker of all that is truth and only truth. Must be epic not knowing how or being able to lie or manipulate... |
No, Epic Games is the speaker for Epic Games. You don't speak for them.

Just Fortnite or all games going forward? I also like how you used "or" and not 'that is preposterous'... |
Depends on the dev. If the dev doesn't want their accounts compromised by any other entity then that desire should be respected.

What about the XB gamers that jumped on board right away because they wanted that? They had it taken away from them due to others complaining. You think that's ok? Do some people need to sacrifice or be left out for the greater good in the long run? Was it? Isn't that why Epic signed with PS? |
If it's pro-consumer then yes.

In which of these links did they say "they hated exclusivity and weren't going to do that"?

Signing contracts then trying to back out of them? It's not like Epic had no plans for cross play back then and it just popped up. They knew and chose to go without. Now they are changing their minds and it's too late, yet they seem to be happy to try and stab PS in the back if they can. Good lesson for PS about what can happen if you try to help a company and as many gamers as possible instead of completely locking games down to strictly your own platform and/or the other platforms you choose to help make you look good. |
PS is doing Epic Games no favors by abducting EG accounts and blocking cross-play.
