It’s restricting freedom of expression.  If Spurge wants to make a “Holy shitballs Fortnite is coming to Switch tomorrow!” thread, he should be free to do so.  If people want to discuss something specific from a conference rather that try to have that discussion among another dozen announcements, they should be encouraged.  A barrage of threads on e3 days is part of the fun.  This new rule is only because some people’s personalities crave structure and order.  I don’t care if you organize your game collection alphabetically, by genre, or colour of the cover, but blocking hyped-up reaction threads merely makes this place more bland, and drives me to seek hype discussions elsewhere.
