I LOVE GIGGS said:
Ninja Theory acquisition is a great, unexpected move. I like their action games. I hope they'll add 20-30 developers and release AAA games every 2-3 years.

Undead labs is a good devwloper. Their problem is that their ideas with SoD is bigger than what they are capable of. Either they double their number with experts on their weak areas, or they drop SoD franchise. I prefer the later. Keep pumping AA games every 1-1.5 years.

Same goes for Compulsion games. I hope they keep pumping AA games to fill the gaps each year.

Although it leaked before the conference, Playground acquisition is the best news last night. We got two quality AAA studios in one. I just hope that the second studio won't be a Fable factory. Fable needs to happen once every generation.

Microsoft needs to work on a great, easy to use inhouse engine. It will help their smaller studios and might help them get launch exclusive games. Use it for free if your games is 6 months launch exclusive for Xbox ecosystem.

That Inhouse Engine right now is the SlipSpace engine but it would take years for the others to adopt it and I doubt that they would drop Unreal 4 after what The Coalition,Rare, and Ninja Theory have achieved in it.

I can see UndeadLabs doubling from their current 60 devs and focusing on becoming a AAA studio, Compulsion will stay Mid Level depending on what their next project is. They are the only Studio I don't like from the list though.
