Star Wars is a new trilogy with new characters.  The existence of non "white male" characters is not proof of forced diversity.  

 

GhoatBusters after a long time rebooted the franchise and someone decided to make the choice to cast all women.  It's a fun idea to basically gender swap the original.  

 

Pretty much all the complaints that I've even seen about these two movies have nothing to do with them being women and are instead complaints about the writing and acting. Which have nothing to do with the characters themselves.
