Sony needs more studios for PS5. and it has nothing to do with competition.

I rather have 1 great game per dev per gen, than 3 mediocre. There is plenty of games on 3rd parties if you want.

Also we dont want another period like the end of PS3 gen where Sony studios where pumping out great games but due to lack of marketing resources, many struggled to sell.
