Well, not everyone starts on Monday. I think it officially starts on the 9th (EA Play) which is actually less than a week away where I live. 

According to the E3 homepage, E3 starts on the 12th. EA might be doing something that supposedly ties into it because it's a day or two before, but E3 starts on the 12th.
