Seriously, though. Nintendo HATES F-Zero. Literally no reason this couldn't have been an F-Zero game. That really pisses me off, and I can't overstate that, but at the same time if this is true, it'll undoubtably be the best StarFox game ever made, and I say that with all the sincerity in the world - this sounds amazing. StarFox pod racing.
I want this so bad now but like I also want F-Zero and I also want Diddy Kong Racing Returns and I HATE that Nintendo pulls this shit.
tl;dr I'm very excited and conflicted.
