It has way too much repeated/recycled content, such as fighting the same mini-bosses and taking the same main path up the mountain over and over, and movement is somewhat cumbersome. In spite of these problems though, I found it absolutely gripping, from its focus on slow-burn creepiness over cheap jump scares, to its atmosphere so thick you could cut it with a knife, to its cool use of the Gamepad as a camera. One of my favourite games of 2015. |
