I ignored that post the first time but you co-signed it! Crash, FFVII, and Spyro aren't even Sony properties. Shenmue isn't even getting any backing from Sony, is it? A company releasing a game on PlayStation isn't an example of Sony losing listening to fans, is it?
I think we have different ideas of what "listening to fans" is. Releasing (or trying to release) good games is just what companies are supposed to do. When fans say "This is wrong. Please fix it." and companies do it, that's what I consider listening to fans. I don't make the definitions, though.
Making a good product is one thing and if this thread was about who made the better product, I could understand. When it comes to taking criticism and listening to feedback, I can't agree. Sony pretty much sticks to their winning game plan.
