Hard evidence that digital distribution is slowly taking over for physical copies.

I think this is just inevitable. Digital is more convenient and prloading is a thing too.

Physical will still have a place though, at least for the next 10 years.

I expect that sometime soon we are likely to see games release digitally first before the physical release ever make it to market. Kinda like how movies release in the cinema first then months later make it to blu-ray.
