I think Nintendo is gonna do a permanent price cut next year, most likely. It’s hard to believe they need a permanent price cut this year. I can see bundles though.

The Swtch isn’t really losing momentum and the sales have been really good up to this point. Why cut it this year when there’s really no signs of the console slowing down outside of a February month? Remember, Nintendo did not want to launch the Switch and sell at a loss. Whether you believe the NVIDIA chip, the joy cons, the dock, and the extra stuff that come with the overall package cost $199 or $250 to make a unit, it doesn’t really matter. They want to build profit and revenue. And at this time, it doesn’t seem that the profits and revenue are gonna decline (if at all) to a point that a price cut is warranted this year. I guess we’ll see in the April financial report.
