It got really good from the Future Trunks arc and onward.
And especially when Yuya Takahashi animated the episodes, inspired by DBZ's artstyle. That was a godsend to the series.

I was very happy to see the drawings in those parts. I watched Z and some episodes had very good drawings and I missed those a lot, I even thought we would never have them back as the redrawings of certain scenes by official media were worse than the originals and had taken a different style.

I remember when those episodes aired I even took screenshots and posted them on social media as I was happy for the drawing lol
