I haven't noticed a lack of local multiplayer games like you have, so I don't know if this is a valid point or not. There are a lot of people on these forums that will post a thread trying to prove their own narrative about something that's generally accepted to be completely false, but I don't think that's the case here. That being said, I'm intrigued to hear more opinions about this.

I'm a little disappointed that I can't play Splatoon 2 with my daughter. She turned four years old recently (New Year's Baby), and Splatoon 2 is her favorite Switch game. We take turns playing it all the time; we play every Splatfest.

She is surprisingly good at the game given how young she is. She uses the Splat Roller most of the time, and she is very good at managing her ink, using her specials, and mowing down other players.

On the other hand we have Mario Kart, which is pretty much synonymous with local multiplayer, right?
