I thought the wii would do lowish numbers because it was just a turbofied Gamecube with waggle controller and thought the Switch would have a slower start and pick up sales with its first revision. I thought the Switch was likely to have a VR visor at or soon after launch. I thought Sony would release a Vita that took standard micro SD cards because there was so much resistance to their overpriced memory cards and it seemed to being having a hugely negative impact on Vita sales and thought they would try to save it.

I thought their would be an invasion of android boxes with their own wireless game controller but they continue to this day as mainly media boxes with game controllers an additional purchase. I thought the bottom end of the market would be saturated by such boxes and they would be quite popular with pre-configured controllers.

I thought Nintendo would try to save the wii u by offering a mario kart bundle for £199 approx but instead prices actually stayed the same and sales actually took a huge nosedive.

I thought ios and google would take such a large chunk of casual gaming that Nintendo would be forced to offer more powerful hardware and premium game experiences but in fact the Switch is selling well offering even mobile game ports from ios or android at high prices. Basically I didn't believe there was enough people prepared to pay this premium for such games but realised not all people are as tightfisted as me.
