Ordinarily I'd agree and the two aren't mutually exclusive if XBX is their last console. MS adding their main releases to their GamePass shows that they're taking gaming as a service seriously. If we are entering an era of Subscription Wars then it wouldn't be unusual for some large acquisitions to take place.
