Can someone clarify what's exactly included on SFV Arcade Edition Disc?

I know you have to redeeem a code to download Seasson 1 and 2 characters. But... are the new modes and extras included on the disc, or is it just the vanilla version and you have to download a patch to get the Arcade Mode bonus?  =S
