I really hope not. I don't want it simplified just so it can be played on consoles. AoE belongs on a PC.

huge problem with the new Age of Empires potentially though if they truly do make it an exclusive to the Windows Game store. If so they will be killing their playerbase. it needs to be on Steam, Age of Empires 2 HD has done insanely well on Steam
