Even with the indicator it took me several hours to find out where the hell to go after escaping the ship in Torigoth. It got me some levels though so I wasn't too mad but the frustration was there.

I saw a big resolution drop when I was getting the diamond tree bark and I was walking across that bridge way up there and happened to look down.

It plays more like the original than X and while the world is huge it feels much more like a throwback to JRPGs of old with the big world maps. An open world rpg this is not though there is a lot to do.

I do dislike the side missions so far though their rewards are pretty good. I hate how entitled the people are. Some douche bag expected me to spend 30k on a freaking item from a nopon after finding his kid and rescuing him. Make that a separate mission dammit, don't add it on to the other half.

The story is real engaging so far though with high production values on the cut scenes and an amazing voice cast, especially Pyra.

hearing meh meh meh in a battle numerous times however is something only the strongest of us will be able to endure tho. Worse nopon in the series so far.

I freaking love this game though and have not been able to put it down. Because of it Resident Evil Revelations has just sat on my shelf since I bought it.

This is exactly why I'm loving this game. It feels like I'm playing the version of an SNES JRPG that the devs were imagining in their heads. Personally, I wish we could actually sail/fly between Titan's, but I loved sailing in Wind Waker. I'm not exactly the best person to talk to about this.

Either way, the world of this game is infinitely more compelling than that of XCX, so I'll take a not open world open world game if it gives me that. Long live Alres.

Actually flying between the titans would've been incredible. That was one of the highlights of X if you ask me. When you finally get your flight module and you can truly uncover the world.

Games are fun.
