True but even then i assume the console market is much larger in the UK than Spain/Italy so in terms of market share Nintendo may be higher in those countries despite lower overall sales.

Either way, in terms of the big mainstream gaming markets, UK is the weakest or one of the weakest for Nintendo.

Edit: I just looked at the % that UK represents of European totals for each console.

UK is about 15-20% of EU totals for PS4/3DS/WiiU/SW while its about 40% for XBO. So its more like UK is a really good market for Xbox rather than it being bad for Nintendo.
