The Game Awards next Thursday is going to fully reveal a massive "Insane" 6th main entry of a major gaming franchises. A "sequel" which Geoff Keighley has teased that "some gamers want it, others do not". A curious statement that is almost never said about a game, especially in such a positive manner to hype people up. Could this be a series with a polarizing fan base? Is it a series that fans feel that there isn't much that can be done with it and wants it to be left alone? Has the series met some weaker entries? Or perhaps another reason all together. It is certainly an odd statement that leaves one curious and filled with excitement.

Many people believe that the game in question could Calibur 6. A game that is not only long over due, but also allegedly had it's announcement leaked for the PSX. While Soul Calibur V was debatably the series weakest link in the eyes of many of its fans thanks to some series changes that weren't too well received. I don't see why people would suddenly not want them to try again and deliver Soul Calibur VI. Personally I don't think this is the game.

What game do you think is about to get it's 6th major entry revealed next week? Or better yet, what game do you hope will be revealed? The Game Awards has been promised to be it's biggest yet and with lots of surprises and ideas that is promised to blow our minds. Maybe even a game reveal that will break the internet! Jk! Happy speculating and only 5 more days to go! Or 4 more if you're picky about midnight and time-zone changes. The Game Awards are going to be on fire this year!

Update: I added a poll based on the most popular picks that people stated. Subtitles are just for fun.
