So is Peach the first name, and Toadstool the last? Peach Toad, Princess of the Mushrooms

Even when he was first introduced, his name was Miles "Tails" Prower, though. It was in the Sonic 2 manual.

It's in the opening of the game itself right before the start menu.  But fans never called him that.

I also still refer to Robotnik, but I eventually grew out of saying King Koopa and Princess Toadstool.
