If you want top-of-the-line stuff you should be looking at the LG OLEDs (B7A / C7 / E7P), they are the best quality TVs you can get and don't cost much more than the Samsungs etc.
For medium budgets the Sony X850E/X900E sets are very good in price and performance. If the TV is mostly used for gaming the Vizio P series 2017 could be a worthwhile alternative
If you are going for minimum budget the TCL P605/P607 are surprisingly competent TVs especially for gaming.
