What do you mean?

I mean, there was nothing wrong with the Wii U. It was an excellent system, but it failed to create hype and most casuals (the drones that bought 100mil Wii's ) would've needed to be goaded into buying it, by the press or the internet or whomever. Without said hype, the mob skipped it, and a great system faded into nothingness.

The Wii was my favorite console of that generation, but the Wii U was such a disappointment. I even called it out for not appealing to anyone right before it was released. I knew right away the Wii U would be Nintendo's worst console.

There were so many problems with it right away:

- No new franchises (Splatoon wouldn't come out til year 3)

- Games were underwhelming such as Super Mario 3D World (when the Wii U needed a hit, they gave us this? WTF?), Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and many, many more

- It didn't know what it wanted to be

- The tablet controller was useless and expensive. I don't even know why it was included????

- It had virtually no games and no third party support. Heck it didn't even get a Zelda game really

- The online was still crap and Nintendo shunned it (no online for 3D World for example)

- The marketing was terrible

The Switch is great so far though (except for charging online). This is what should've been released in 2012.
